Day Two - Snorkel and Swim

May 3, 2009
Slept in a little longer today... woke up between 5:30am and 6:00am. Just when we get this 3-hour time change under control, it will be time to go home and the girls won't want to wake up until 9 or 10am! We headed to a different beach today, this time to try snorkeling and boogie boarding on some bigger waves.

Happy to say, my girls loved snorkeling! Kevin took them out one at a time and they saw lots of different fish - all colors!

Karen and Tim snorkeled, too:

This beach was loads of fun. We rented boogie boards and the kids had fun surfing in the small waves.

Tim helped Hannah dig a hole - later other kids came over to help and play!

Grace played so hard. She even rolled around in the sand a bit. She had more sand in her hair, her bathing suit, her ears, etc. than I've ever seen before!

We came home and I tried to get as much sand off of her as possible, then we went to Maui Tacos for nachos with pulled mango pork. Mmmmmm. Then a little rest and back to the swimming pool again. Ended the evening with the guys grilling us a yummy dinner of steak, corn, grilled onion and sweet bread.

  1. So did Kevin snorkel with the hat on? The lid has a good SPF :-)
